Sleep snoring mouthguard comparisons: which stop snoring the best?

If you have read my blog before, you probably have noticed that I am a huge proponent for stop snoring mouthpieces. I think that the mouthpieces are the most effective devices that actually stop snoring. A lot of people swear by those breath-rite nasal strips but I think they are worthless. The mouth guards have been the only thing that has been able to stop my fathers snoring - and that says a lot.

Here are the top snore mouthpieces on the market:

snore1 The Snore Wizard - This is my personal favorite. Comfortable, works great and is not very expensive compared to some of the ones on the market. I think that this particular mouth piece is the best value out of them. It is currently on sale on Amazon through this link.

mouthStop Snoring Mouthguard by Anti-snore - A lot of people love this mouth guard however there is only one problem - this thing sells out all the time and is only in stock for a couple of days at a time. You can get it on Amazon here if you want to wait for it to restock. As far as I know, that is the only place you can get it online.

mouth2ProSnore Snore Appliance -This one is really crazy. It is custom fitted and has a very small profile. Great for those people who just can’t get used to having a bigger mouth guard in the mouth while they are falling asleep. This one is about twice the price as the ones above but worth it if you can’t stand regular ones. It is currently on sale on Amazon found here.

A tip about snoring mouth guards

For the first few days you will find it very awkward to sleep with it in your mouth. However, you will get used to it pretty quickly. The annoyance will go away within a weeks time.

Obus Forme Snore Pillow: The best stop snoring pillow on the market.

By now, you should have realized that I am crazy when it comes to decking out my room with the latest and most popular sleep relief products.

Today, I am reviewing the Obus Forme Anti Snore Pillow. First off, I will admit that I have never personally used this stop snoring pillow. However, I have seen for myself that this pillow does work, especially for heavy snorers who sleep on their back.

Short answer, yes. We bought this pillow for my father to quiet his loud snore so that we could get to sleep at night. Out of all the anti-snore products we tried for him, this snoring pillow and the snoring mouthpiece, located here, were the only things that reduced his snoring. When he sleeps with both the mouth piece and the pillow, we don’t hear a peep all night long.

Stop Snoring Chin Straps: Do they actually work? Check out my review here.

Snoring chin straps can be an effective solution for some, while on others it will not work at all. Similar products, like the stop snoring mouth guards, work by opening up airways by effectively positioning your jaw to remain slightly open. The stop snoring chin guard does the opposite - it keeps the persons mouth from opening to wide which can also impair breathing. How the stop snoring chin strap works

The jaw supporter works with the same principles as CPR - the airway must be open to allow air to pass through your throat(duhhh). An airway that is constricted or collapsed will cause snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. The stop snoring chin strap will hold your lower jaw in place so that it does not fall backwards and down which collapses your airway.

Not going to lie, these things really aren’t the most attractive things in the world so don’t be whipping this thing out on the first date lol. However, once you get over the fact that you look a little funny sleeping with it on, you will definitely enjoy this chin strap. The SleepTracker Pro sleep monitor watch is the one item that I have been looking for, for a very long time but have never been able to find. I have always wanted something that can monitor the exact moment I fall asleep and which will also wake me up after I have achieved optimal sleep. The cool thing about this watch is that is physically senses when you have hit the ultimate amount of sleep and wakes you up by vibrating - this thing really vibrates so there is practically no way you can sleep through it.

Forget going to the sleep center to be monitored by scientists while you sleep…it’s just creepy.

One negative about this Sleep Monitoring Watch

The only thing that is bad about this watch is that it is the ugliest watch you’ll ever see. I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing this thing - only asleep ;) I basically only wear it when going to bed but that is all it was intended to be worn as - not some beautiful fashionable watch that you wear out in public.

I was very skeptical about a foam mattress at first because I always wondered how a mattress could effect my sleep quality. Eventually I just gave in and bought one because I was simply tired of being tired all the time.

To my surprise, this product exceeding my expectations at every level. My only complaint about it is that it makes it a heck of a lot harder to get out of bed in the morning.

Yes, a 12 inch foam top would be amazing, but unless you got $1000 to drop on it, then forget about it! 3 does the job perfectly in my opinion.

Anti Snoring Mouth Piece. A good mouthpiece that stops snoring dead in its tracks.

I wish we would have known about these snoring mouthpieces when I was younger! My dad would snore so loud it would wake our whole family wake up. My mom and dad had to have separate rooms because it got so bad!

I bought this mouth piece device as sort of a gag for my father one year to make a joke about how loud he snores. Although it was intended to be a gag, he actually ended up using it. I honestly didn’t think it would work because none of the other things he tried worked to stop his snore. To my surprise, the first night he used it I didn’t hear a peep from him.

Don’t get suckered in by your doctor!

If you have ever talked to a doctor about snoring, I’m sure at one point they tried to sell you some special mouth piece that cost somewhere around $500 dollars. I repeat, do not get suckered into paying so much!

You can get the same exact thing from Amazon.com for $60. The only difference is, you have to mold it yourself which is really easy to do. All you do is put it in boiling water for 15 seconds, put it in your mouth and bite down. It will make a custom fit to your teeth and jaw structure.

Works for a lot of people.

I would say that out of all the reviews I have seen for this snoring device, about 95% of them saw a huge improvement in their snoring problem. Most swear by this product and say it has cured their snore almost instantly. Here is a review from an Amazon Customer:
